Richard is currently a senior secondary student at Pui Kiu College, exposing him to a wide range of humanities, business and social-science subjects — grounding his community work in clear writing, structured thinking, and a habit of asking why a system works the way it does. Richard 現為培僑書院高中部學生，當中為他奠定清晰寫作、嚴謹思維及追問制度成因的習慣。

02 About 簡介

As Co-founder and Community Leader of Evenly Lab, Richard owns the A-EYE community end-to-end — the people who use the product, the partner organisations who walk alongside them, and the wider network of supporters who make the work possible. He spends most of his week in conversation: with visually impaired Hong Kongers learning what would actually make a shopping trip easier, with frontline staff at NGOs and care centres, and with prospective partners who are deciding whether to bring A-EYE into their spaces. 作為均研科技的聯合創辦人及社群領袖，Richard 全權負責 A-EYE 社群的整體運作 —— 包括產品使用者、與他們並肩同行的合作機構，以及令整項工作得以成事的更廣大支持者網絡。他的每週時間大多花在與人對話之上：與香港的視障朋友傾談，了解怎樣才能令一趟購物旅程真正更輕鬆；與非政府組織及照顧機構的前線同工交流；亦與正在考慮將 A-EYE 引入其場景的潛在合作夥伴磋商。

He also co-leads the team's partnerships and ESG work — building relationships with visually impaired advocacy groups, accessibility-focused charities, and corporate social responsibility partners who share Evenly Lab's community-first values. His approach is deliberately slow on the front end and deliberately durable on the back end: every introduction is treated as the start of a multi-year relationship, not a one-off conversion, and every partnership is measured by what it gives back to the community — not just by what it produces for the lab. 他亦共同領導團隊的合作夥伴及 ESG 工作 —— 與視障倡議組織、聚焦無障礙的慈善團體，以及秉持均研科技「社群優先」價值觀的企業社會責任夥伴建立關係。他的工作方式刻意於前期放慢腳步，卻在後期保持持久：每一次的引介都被視為多年關係的開端，而非一次性轉化；每一段合作皆以回饋社群的多少來衡量，而非僅看其為實驗室創造的成果。

Richard's north star is straightforward: people who need support should be able to find it, trust it, and stay connected to it. That means the community has to be welcoming before it is large, and honest before it is impressive. He treats every early adopter, volunteer and co-design participant as a long-term relationship — not a metric — because he has seen what happens to communities that forget to do the same. Richard 的核心指標十分清晰：有需要支援的朋友，應能夠找到它、信任它，並與之保持聯繫。換言之，社群必須先讓人感到受歡迎，才談得上壯大；必須先誠實可靠，才談得上卓越。他將每一位早期使用者、義工及共創參與者視為長久關係，而非一項數據指標 —— 因為他親眼見過忘卻此道的社群，最終會落得怎樣的下場。

03 Why Evenly Lab 為何加入

Richard co-founded Evenly Lab because he wanted to work on accessibility alongside the people who live it every day — not in a separate room where their experience is paraphrased back to them. A-EYE is built with visually impaired Hong Kongers, and the community around it is the part of the product he cares about most. He is the one who makes sure the lab's doors stay open in both directions: people who need support can walk in, and the lessons they bring in walk straight back into the roadmap. Richard 加入均研科技，源於他希望與每天身歷其境的朋友並肩從事無障礙工作 —— 而非在另一個房間裡，由他人轉述他們的經驗。A-EYE 一直與香港的視障朋友共同構建，而其周邊的社群，正是他最為重視的「產品」部分。他的工作，是確保實驗室的門戶保持雙向暢通：有需要的朋友可以走進來，而他們所帶來的功課，亦能即時回饋到產品路線圖之中。

The team has already secured 3 Third Prizes across two categories of the 12th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the HKUST One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition Guangzhou 2025, and reached the top 5 Hong Kong teams in the 2026 PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition - Hong Kong Chapter. 團隊已於第十二屆香港大學生創新及創業大賽兩個組別，以及香港科技大學百萬獎金創業大賽廣州賽中合共奪得三項三等獎，同時晉身北大滙豐-劍橋嘉治全球創新創業大賽 2026 — 香港分站賽五強。
